Meets the 4th Friday of the month - at a member's home - at 10:30 am

Membership limited - contact the Convenors
The idea is to bring along whatever you are presently working on or just dig out that piece of unfinished craft that has been pushed to the back of the cupboard waiting for “when I have time”.

Knitting, sewing, crocheting, cross stitch, whatever takes your fancy.

Westmead Childrens Hospital Project

The Probus Craft Ladies have been working steadily all year, still supporting the Westmead Hospital Volunteers Trading Table and the Oncology Unit at the Westmead Children’s Hospital.
Our latest contribution was 75 colourful beanies of various sizes to suit boys and girls. These are in great demand while children are having treatment at the Oncology Unit at Westmead Children’s Hospital.
As well as the beanies, some of our crafty ladies have knitted and crocheted 12 warm and cuddly rugs which we have donated for the children. We delivered all these goodies to the Public Relations Officer at the Oncology Department on Monday and she was so thrilled and grateful to receive them.
Vera, who is in charge of the Volunteers at Westmead, has been overwhelmed with the quantity, quality and generosity of the various craft items which we have donated so far. The money they make from the Trading Table is used to buy much needed equipment for the various departments at the Hospital.
Any new, old or long term members, who would like to join our friendly and active group, are most welcome. Please contact Lynne Horne or Crystal Good.
