FERRY TRIP PORTARLINGTON TO DOCKLANDS 15/10/2019
The ferry trip on 15/10/19 was a great day for those who were able to come. The bays were beautiful and calm and after taking off from Portarlington in cloudy weather, the sun came out to greet us at Docklands harbour which we enjoyed whilst waiting for our bus to arrive to take us to our luncheon restaurant at Peppers Hotel's Momami restaurant where driver Norm dropped us off after completing a U Turn to deliver us right to the door. We were greeted by Madeline O'Sullivan who organised everything beautifully. The meal was enjoyed by all and there was lots of chatter tookplace in our 2 hour stay. Bus arrived on time to pick us up and take us home via the Princes Highway to Colac. We had four lucky draws on the way home and the winners were Lyn Cheater ,Lucky Len Leahy, Mary Doran and one other. Arrived home safely at the City Bowls Club @ 5.35pm approx.
