The PROBUS CLUB of DOUBLE BAY
Double Bay Probus Club meets every 3rd Monday in the month (except December) at 10am, at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia in New Beach Rd, Rushcutters Bay.
It’s a club of retired and semi-retired men and women from business and professional backgrounds. It provides the opportunity for regular contact with friends and fellowship with others, and join in activities full of friendship, fun and education. Our club is non-sectarian, non-political and there are no fudraising activities. The Committee are all volunteers.
There is a calendar of speakers at the monthly meetings. They address a wide range of provocative and interesting topics including law, medical research, architecture, science and energy, building, sport, history, the arts, and lifestyle areas such as gardening and travel.
At the conclusion of our meeting at 12pm, many members stay for lunch on the CYCA waterfront deck.
Between monthly meetings members can meet for coffee mornings and can choose outings in and around Sydney, catering to a wide range of interests. There are also opportunities to attend theatre and musical events.
