First Monday Of every Month- Coffee Morning at Cafe Mia at 10am
Everyone is welcomed and no need to book, just turn up, order your coffee, breakfast or brunch, pay at the counter and join us at the back of the coffee shop. Friendly and informal, laughter and ‘good’ gossip.

TOWN HALL HOUSE - CITY MODEL of the CITY OF SYDNEY
Date: 10:45am for 11:00am, Thursday, 21st August 2025.
Departure Times: Meet inside at 10:45am at Town Hall House, 456 Kent Street Sydney.
Itinerary: Join us for a visit to Town Hall House - City of Sydney model.The City of Sydney is the only council in Australia that maintains and exhibits a working scale model of its local area.The 1:500 scale model of the city on Level 2 of Town Hall House was built in 2 stages over 30 years.The city model was designed to be easily updated with proposed developments to allow for accurate comparisons. A colour code identifies existing buildings, proposed buildings and buildings under construction. As the model grew, it went on public display and became popular with visitors. Today it contains around 4,000 buildings.Following the visit will be lunch in Chinatown.Cost: Model visit is free.

CHAU CHAK WING MUSEUM SYDNEY UNIVERSITY
Date: Friday, 19th September
The Museum: More than 2000 items are on display over four levels of museum.
Three different collections have combined to display a diverse range of items including
ancient Roman artefacts; Egyptian mummies; wildlife specimens and contemporary art.

Alight at Victoria Park (the first stop after turning left from City Rd onto Parramatta Rd)

Directions: Enter via the main gates on Parramatta Rd. It is a 7min walk to the museum.
