At the August Meeting, 2025, Treasurer Pam Barton gave an excellent account of her recent trip to Costa Rica. Member John Burhop passed on the Club's appreciation with a vote of thanks.

The July, 2025 guest speaker was Kevin Weeks, a collector of old newspapers.  

He kept the club members entertained with stories of how he came upon much of his collection.   He brought along several "front pages" displaying world events that had been covered.   His quote "what is considered to be trash to some people can be treasure to others" is so true and Kevin is a prime example of someone placing importance on preserving items of historical value.

Secretary, Dorothy introduced the guest speaker.   Lisa expertly outlined the many reasons for hearing loss and why it is so important that we address any concerns that arise, particularly as we age.
