CLUB NEWS

Recent News for Club Members

Our regular monthly newsletters are prepared and emailed to all members who have provided an email address.  The newsletter will be posted to those members who do not have an email address. The Club Newsletters can be found under the Newsletter tab on the left hand side of the page or here

The Club holds General Meetings on the third Wednesday of each month (except December).

Current, normal social distancing rules apply.  Also, as a result of NSW Government Health Orders, the Country Club may have to limit the number of people that can attend so check for details in the Newsletter.

COVID-19 Advice

The club has received advice from Probus South Pacific on dealing with COVID-19.  Some advice from that communication is provided below.

  • Follow the advice given by your healthcare provider, your national and local public health authority on how to protect yourself and others from COVID-19.
  • Any member or guest who has contracted COVID-19 should not attend a Probus meeting or activity until medical clearance has been provided.
  • Any member or guest returning to Australia and/or New Zealand should not attend any Probus meetings or activities for a period of 14 days from their return date.
  • Any member or guest who has had any contact with a known positive case of COVID-19 or a person who is under quarantine or self-isolation awaiting confirmation testing, should not attend any Probus meetings or activities for at least 14 days after the contact was made or a medical clearance is given.
  • If a member or guest has any fever, cough, flu-like symptoms or is feeling unwell, they should not attend any Probus meetings or activities.
  • Members or guests that have an underlying medical condition like cardiovascular disease, respiratory condition, or diabetes, should avoid crowded areas or places where they could interact with people who are sick.
