Taringa Probus Club meets at the Mount Coot-tha Gardens each month where their members partake in fun, friendship, fellowship at the Botanical Gardens Auditorium. The Probus Club is a vibrant, active group of retirees from 29 suburbs of Brisbane who share many exciting and stimulating activities each month.
Members can:
- Expand their horizons through our guest speakers
- Visit beautiful and interesting places on tours and trips
- Enjoy company at ‘Foodies’ lunches
- See the latest movies, plays and musicals
- Be transported to faraway places without leaving home as an Armchair Traveller
- Experience Brisbane’s undiscovered places with a walking group
- Play croquet, bowls
- Improve their photographic skills
- Love reading with the Book Club
Taringa Probus Club welcomes recent Brisbane retirees who would like to enjoy new friendships through participating in these activities and by becoming involved and contributing to the harmony of the club.
General Meetings (with guest speaker and morning tea) are on the fourth Tuesday of the month at the Auditorium, Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens at 9.30 am for a 10.00 am start.
