Welcome to a new year of Probus activities and friendship. 

I hope you had a happy Easter and were able to enjoy the beautiful weather and catch up with family. Joy and I were lucky enough to spend Easter at Sorrento with two of our children, their wives and five kids in a large holiday house. Fun days at the beach and playing basket-ball, tennis and cricket with children and grand children alike. I’m sure you can picture the impact of 5 children having chocolate for break-fast! 

I am looking forward to attending as many outings and activities that are organised by our hard working sub committee leaders as I can, as I believe that these activities are the key to getting the most out of our membership of Probus. Please keep a close eye on the activities on offer and participate where you are able in order to strengthen the bonds within our club. Having said this, we are unable to attend one of the biggest events, that being the Nomads trip to Healesville which I am sure will be very successful and great deal of fun. My brother and his wife will be visiting down south from tropical Queensland for the first time in about 8 years which will be lovely. We are looking forward to their company and to taking them around to show them how much everything has changed since the last time they were here.
