TRAIN TRIP TO SOMEWHERE

This month we're going to catch the "Rivercat" from Parramatta to Circular Quay.
Charge up your Opal Card, grab some water & a few snacks for the journey and catch the train from either Morisset or Wyee Station. Lunch is up to you, take a picnic or grab some lunch along the way.
Our Train leaves Morisset Station at 8.23am & Wyee Station at 8.29am arriving at Strathfield around 10.15am. Change trains here for Parramatta (Platform 6). Our aim is to catch the 11.38am Rivercat Ferry for our journey down the river to Circular Quay arriving approximately 1.00pm Time for some lunch before catching the light rail back to Central Station for our journey home.
From Parramatta Station we can catch a bus that stops within a 5 minute walk to the wharf or alternatively the walk from the station takes about 14 minutes. There's a coffee Kiosk near the wharf but no Kiosk aboard the ferry.

COFFS HARBOUR & NORTH COAST TOUR
Monday 2nd to Saturday 7th September 2024
Toukley Probus Club have invited us to join them on a five night/6 day coach tour of the North Coast. Staying four nights at the Opal Cove Resort Coffs Harbour and one night at Tamworth Best Western Sanctuary Inn.
The tour will include visits to the Slim Dusty Museum South Kempsey, the Clog Farm & Dolphin Marine Conservation Coffs Harbour. The Hammond & Wheatly Emporium Bellingen and Rain Forest/Skywalk at Dorrigo.
The cost is between $1485 & $1575 per person depending on the number of persons going (single supplement is $350). A deposit of $200 pp is payable by 31st May.
Most main meals are included in the cost. Morning / Afternoon tea at own expense.
