Craft Group

Last month the craft group and a couple of their friends visited the Wheelchair for Kids workshop. We took 40 blankets and 15 teddies with us.The new workshop is impressive - it was a little disappointing that we didn’t get to see much of the equipment being operated but the volunteers do a marvellous job with their construction of the wheelchairs. They have distributed in excess of 60,000 wheelchairs since their inception. This month we went to Joyce’s home and had a surprise visit from Ann Watts. It was lovely spending time with Ann, and she is doing quite well and hopes to return to meetings soon.The October catchup will be on Thursday 10th at Ellen’s home at 9.30ish.
