Craft Group meets on the 2nd Thursday of months February to November, 9.30 a.m.   at Rosetta's Cafe, Stafford City Shopping Centre.  Contact Judy C.  Next meeting:  Thursday, 9th May 2024. 

*New* Men's Group:   The next meeting will be at 11.00a.m. on Tuesday 16th April 2024.  The group will meet for lunch at The Alderley Arms Hotel.  Contact is Lyndley N.

April 2024

Thursday 18th April:  10.30 a.m.  Tour Old Government House in the grounds of QUT, 2 George Street.  30 people max.  Free.  Book by 4th April.  12.00 p.m. Lunch at Pancake Manor, Charlotte Street. Own cost.  1.30 p.m. Visit Commissariat Store, 115 William Street - check out Convict Brisbane 1825 to 1842.  Free. Book either or both  with Elaine by 4th April.

Thursday 27th April.  8.00 a.m.  Brekkie at Elixir Cafe, 12 Haywood Street, Stafford.  Book with Elaine by 4th April.  

May 2024

Thursday 16th May:  10.00 a.m.  A tour of Aveo, 42 Ridley Road, Bridgeman Downs.  Morning tea will be served after the tour.  Min 15 people needed to attract a donation of $500.00 to the club.  Contact: Margaret St. 

Thursday 23 May:  9.30 a.m. 2-Hour tour of Suncorp Stadium followed by lunch at Newstead Brewing.  Cost determined by number attending. Details later.  Book by 2nd May. Contact: Elaine.

Sunday 26th May:  11.30 a.m. Lunch at Crown Hotel, Lutwyche.  Own Cost.  2.00 p.m.  Growl Theatre, " Arsenic and Old Lace".  Cost $15.00.  Book by 2nd May. Contact: Judy C.

June 2024

Monday 3rd June: 9.30 a.m. Bridgeman Downs Trivia at Geebung RSL.  12 Players booked.  

Thursday 20th June:  Day trip to St Helena Island with Brisbane Cruises.  Cost $85.00 includes morning tea, barbeque lunch, and guided tour of the Penal Settlement.  Min.40, max 100 guests.  Cruise departs from Hamilton Wharf with free parking across the road at Hamilton Hotel and/or motel opposite the wharf.  Book and pay by 30th May.  Leader needed.

July 2024

Thursday 18th July:  Annual Birthday Lunch.  A "Hoe-Down" at Geebung RSL.  Details to follow but register now!   Team led by Kath C. is now planning.

Wednesday 24th July:  9.30 a.m. Morning tea and Sausage Sizzle, Teralba Park, Everton Park.  Cost  $5.00.  Bring your chair and a mug.  Listen to Qld Police Pipes and Drums, along with a talk on Senior Safety.  Book by 4th July.  Contact: Margaret St.
