Book Club meets on the 2nd Tuesday of months February to November, 10.00 a.m. at Wheller Gardens Cafe, Off The Boulevard at Wheller Gardens, Chermside. Contact Del LeB or Joan B.   Next meeting: Tuesday, 13th August 2024.  

Craft Group meets on the 2nd Thursday of months February to November, 9.30 a.m.   at Rosetta's Cafe, Stafford City Shopping Centre.  Contact Judy C.  Next meeting:  Thursday, 8th August 2024. 

*New* Men's Group - ROMEO - Retired Old Men Enjoying Ourselves  meets on the 2nd Thursday of months February to November.  The next meeting will be at 11.00 a.m. on Thursday 8th August 2024 at "The Gibson" 352 Stafford Road, Stafford, next to Stafford City shops.  It was formerly Stafford Bowls Club.   Contact is Lyndley N.

July 2024

Thursday 18th July:  11.15 a.m. for lunch at 12.00 noon.  Annual Probus Birthday Lunch at Geebung RSL.  Theme is  "A Hoe-Down".  Come along in the spirit - demin skirt/jeans, country style shirt. hat, boots - dress up or not. Do what makes you comfortable and be prepared to have a good time.  Cost is $55.00 , so register now and pay by 4th July. Team led by Kath C. is now planning.

Wednesday 24th July:  9.30 a.m. Morning tea and Sausage Sizzle, Teralba Park, Pullen Road, Everton Park.  Cost  $5.00.  Bring your chair and a mug.  Listen to Qld Police Pipes and Drums, along with a talk on Senior Safety.  Book by 4th July.  Contact: Margaret St.

August 2024

Saturday 17th August:  10.00 a.m. Morning tea at Soul Op Shop & Espresso Cafe, 294 Graham Road, Bridgeman Downs.  They take their coffee seriously.  Op shop is a treasure trove of pre-loved goods, with all profits going directly to the local & global community.  Max of 20.

Saturday 31st August:  11.15 a.m. meet at Roma Street for 11.30 a.m. train trip to Graceville Station and lunch at "The Hunter and Scout" opposite the station.  Own cost.  As a booking is required please register your interest at the Activities desk asap.  Leader: Terry Holmes.

September 2024

Wednesday 18 September:  Tour of Parliament House (free).  15 per group. Times - 11.15 a.m., 11.30 a.m., 11.445 a.m.  Visitors to enter precinct via the Parliamentary Annex Building, Alice Street (opposite William Street).  Photo I.D. is required to be shown on entry to Parliament House.  More details later.

8 Day Trip to Lightning Ridge - 11 to 18 August.

Twin share cost is $1878.00 per person and cost for a single is $2029.00.  $100.00 deposit is required from each registrant by end of May 2024.  Final payment is due by 4th August.
