Volunteer to check a jigsaw puzzle or two for Lifeline
Lifeline is looking for volunteers to check the jigsaw puzzles that are donated to them for fund raising purposes. It is quite informal, you can do it at home and you don’t have to commit to a specific time period or even the number of puzzles you will complete.
Here is how it works:
- You call in at the Lindfield Book Depot which is open between 9am and 3pm and is situated on the corner of Polding and Ignatius Roads, in West Pymble
- Collect a puzzle and take it home
- Once you have completed the puzzle you do one of three things:
- if all the pieces are there, you return the puzzle to the Depot.
- If only one piece is missing, you still return the puzzle - but you put a note on it - if more than one piece is missing, you dispose of the puzzle
- When you are ready, you can then collect your next puzzle.
If you have any questions, please contact Peggy Cameron on 0415 769 196 or email her on [email protected] . She can also tell you whom to contact if you want to become involved in cleaning and sorting books for Lifeline. However, that does require a more formal application and commitment.
It is a good cause and they will be most appreciative of any help that you can give them, so why not give it a try?
