At our General monthly meetings we are privileged to have a guest speaker who is happy to come along and give a talk on their particular vocation or special interest. Whether it be travel, environmental issues, charities, political, professions, sports, writers, adventurers etc, we can be sure that whatever their choice of subject is, we will always be treated to a very informative and interesting presentation. 

       Guest Speaker for June 2024 will be the Hon Nola Marino MP

Nola is the Federal Member for Forrest and Shadow Assistant Minister for Education. Her talk will be about her visit to Afghanistan with the Australian Defence Force.

Nola was elected as the Federal Member for Forrest in November 2007. On the 27 September 2015, she became the first female to be appointed to the position of Chief Government Whip.

Nola enjoys spending time with family and friends.  Her passions include football, cooking, music, reading and walking.
