June 2025

Five members of the Writers Group met on 6th June to share reflections on the topic of 'Life really is too short'.  Garry provided a description around his recent move to apartment life in Perth reflecting on the amount of organisation and time spent on the move, including details of a fall while unloading furniture.   Tony's story was a reflection through the ages from his teens to the present day while Lesley looked at prioritising time as well as the lack of it to reduce goods accumulated over time.  My choice was a piece of fiction based on my mother's favourite saying 'Life really is too short to bear a grudge.
